HOW PRICING WORKS
Deep Salt charters are priced as private trips, not per-seat tours. Each charter includes the boat, captain, standard fuel for the selected route, bottled water, soft drinks, and the listed number of guests. Full-day charters may also include snacks, fruit, or lunch depending on the trip selected. All included items will be clearly listed with your final quote before booking.

BASE CHARTER RATE
A flat private charter rate covers the boat, captain, standard fuel for the selected route, and the listed number of guests.
Fishing charters include up to 4 anglers. Snorkeling and island charters include up to 6 guests. Additional guests may be added up to a maximum of 8 total, depending on the trip, for an additional fee.
ADDITIONAL GUESTS
Larger groups may add guests for an additional per-person rate, depending on the trip type, guest count, and boat capacity.
DESTINATION & FUEL
Longer routes, including Cayos Cochinos and full island circumnavigation, are priced to reflect the additional distance, fuel use, and time on the water.
TRIP LENGTH

TAXES INCLUDED
Final quoted prices include applicable Honduran taxes: 15% ISV sales tax and 4% tourism services tax.

Deep Salt currently accepts cash payment only. Final pricing will be confirmed in advance, and payment is due on the day of your charter.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Are children allowed on board?
Guest safety is always our top priority. If weather or sea conditions create concerns for the planned route, our captain may recommend an alternate itinerary, adjust the trip, or reschedule for a better day. If Deep Salt cancels due to unsafe conditions, there is no charge to you.
Yes. Deep Salt charters can be a great option for families, depending on the trip selected, sea conditions, and the comfort level of your group. We provide life jackets for guests and can help recommend the best charter option based on age, swimming ability, and the kind of day you want on the water.
Do I need previous fishing experience?
What is your cancellation policy?
Not at all. Our captain will provide the guidance, gear, and support you need, whether it’s your first time fishing or you’re an experienced angler. Each fishing charter is tailored to your comfort level, experience, and the conditions of the day.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are appreciated so we can offer your date to other guests. Because payment is made in cash at the time of boarding and no deposits are taken, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
Can we customize our itinerary?
What should we bring with us?
Yes. Every Deep Salt charter is private and can be customized around your group’s interests, pace, and the best conditions of the day. Depending on the trip selected, we can adjust the route for snorkeling, fishing, beach stops, sightseeing, island exploring, or extra time at your favorite stops.
We suggest bringing reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and a beach towel. Deep Salt provides ice, bottled water, soft drinks, snacks, fresh fruit, and the gear included with your selected charter. Guests are also welcome to bring their own snorkeling gear, snacks, or food, especially if they have dietary preferences, allergies, or specific meal needs.
